On Thursday, July 17th, the Office of Senior Services has scheduled a luncheon with guest speaker Chief John Gilbert, Public Safety Director for residents. Lunch will be provided. Chief Gilbert will address Emergency Preparedness to our residents. It will take place in the Community Room (Suite 120) of the Police/Administration Building. Wednesday July 30th -- Cruise on the "Princesa" out of Bayfront Park. --11 am - 5:30 pm
We will cruise in style in the state of the art, Mega Yacht designed to offer the ultimate entertainment experience. July 30th -- Social Security comes to the Village -- 9:30 am
A bilingual Social Security representative will assist residents with a variety of social security related issues. The SSA representative will be at the Office of Senior Services, Suite 230, the last Wednesday of every month starting at 9:30 a.m. For more information, contact 305-365-8953.

Friday July 18 -- 3rd Friday's July presentation is "SEAGRASS ADVENTURES" -- 6-8:30pm
Come and enjoy the beach right outside the doors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center and learn who calls the seagrass home. Our well versed and interesting naturalists will gather specimens from the seagrass for your up-close inspection as they discuss each find. The seagrass is richly populated with aquatic "neighbors" and we think you'll be surprised to see them. This is going to be a fun and informative evening of discovery for everyone. (Wear your beach shoes.) We'll also have beach activities for the little schoolies, music, an inexpensive light supper and a delightful cash bar. Adults $5, "little flippers" $2, flip-flopped members of all sizes Free. 3rd Fridays are a blast of educational fresh air fun for the whole family.
