Key Realty

Key Realty has been on Key Biscayne since 1951. Key Realty was founded by attorney James Pilafian who has been practicing law on Key Biscayne since 1947. Practicing law was James' priority and Key Realty was an ancillary company set up to provide full service to his clients. Flash forward today: Scott Bass, a lifelong Key Biscayne resident has joined Key Realty and plans on operating the company as a full professional brokerage. Prior to joining Key Realty Scott Bass was a Real Estate Broker for 8 years. Bass allowed his license to expire due to a genetic illness, Cystic Fibrosis, which was zapping his energy, his desire to practice real estate and his life. Blessed with a Double-lung Transplant and a second chance at life, Bass decided to get back into the Real Estate profession.

The 2003 Great Pink Flamingo Invasion

Got Flamingos? Flamingos have been spotted roosting in various yards around the Village, happily enjoying life on our Island Paradise. In the dead of night, or in the brightest part of the day, the Chamber's flamingo wranglers bring the flock of one hundred to a new site ever day (except if it rains). For a mere $25, you can convince the flamingos to move onto a new yard. You choose the next "victims". Of course, if you do not want to participate, flamingo insurance can be purchased for $10.
