Bonnie Cooper

Bonnie L. Cooper, a twenty-three year resident of Key Biscayne, received her juris doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1984. She practices from her office on Key Biscayne in the areas of Guardianship, Probate and Elder Law.

Bonnie has been actively involved with many community organizations and committees, including the Key Biscayne Athletic Club, the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne, and Keep Seniors on Key Biscayne. She has also been one of the main driving forces behind the Key Biscayne Community Center. In addition, Bonnie is active in numerous professional organizations, including Dade County Bar Association, South Florida Guardianship Association, Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, and Advocacy Advisory Committee for the Association for Retarded Citizens.

Bonnie's twenty-year-old daughter, Stephanie Freeman, was born and raised on the island, attended the Key Biscayne Community School, participated in many Key Biscayne Athletic Club activities and currently attends Florida State University.

In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys attending sporting events, the theater and the ballet, playing golf and roller-blading.
