Ed Stone

Ed Stone is the Vice President of Private Banking with Gibraltar Bank. He came to Key Biscayne in 1968 from Rye Town (Westchester County) New York. Ed Stone graduated for Fairfield University (Fairfield Conn.) and received his Masters from St. Thomas University (Miami, FL).

Ed is a past president of the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce and serves as an advisor to the Board of Directors.

Currently he is Vice President of the Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade, Treasurer of the Key Biscayne Lighthouse Run and is a member of the Keep the Seniors on Key Biscayne Committee. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Key Biscayne Yacht Club as well as the Key Biscayne Beach Club and St. Agnes Parish Council. He was also chairman of the search committee for the Village Clerk.

His four children were born and raised on Key Biscayne. Ed and his wife Mayra Fernandez Stone, a Permit Clerk with the Village of Key Biscayne, enjoy traveling and volunteering on Key Biscayne, as well as socializing with their families and extended families.
