Dr. John Martin has been a resident of Key Biscayne for more than ten years.

He is a graduate of Williams College and Harvard Medical School. After a residency in ophthalmology in Philadelphia, he moved to Miami for a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He is board certified in ophthalmology and ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, and currently has a private practice specializing in laser facial and ophthalmic plastic surgery in Coral Gables.

John has been a member of the Key Biscayne WinterFest committee for the last three years, where he has been in charge of the entertainment. In addition to helping plan the festivities, his jazz vocal quartet, The Decotones, has performed at WinterFest each year.

John would like to increase his participation in the community, and believes he would be a valuable addition to the Chamber Board.
