Robert L. Brookes has served as Director, Trustee and Treasurer of the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce for the past 12 years and is very dedicated to Key Biscayne.

Bob is currently on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne and Secretary to the Key Biscayne Rotary Club Foundation.

Mr. Brooks served as President of Key Biscayne Bank from 1990 until 1995 when SunTrust announced its acquisition and named him Senior Vice President and Regional Executive. In July of 1999 he took the position of President and CEO of Eagle National Bank of Miami.

Bob grew up in Peru, graduated from Northeastern University in Boston and worked overseas for several years before coming to Miami. He is married to Lidia and has four children.
