
2023 COMMITTEES
The Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce organizes and facilitates several committees that promote activities, events, advocacy and outreach to support our membership. Each committee is chaired by a member of the Chamber's Board of Directors. All active members are welcome and encouraged to take part in these committees.
These committees assist the Chamber team and leadership in the implementation of our annual work plan to support the prosperity of our business community.
EXECUTIVE
Responsible for developing and implementing the Chamber's strategy, policy and program of action and for overseeing the financial affairs of the organization.

Secretary: Joe Coote, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami
ADVOCACY
Monitors, identifies and advocates for local issues and legislative or governmental actions that serve the interests of the Chamber members, and support the long-term economic viability of Key Biscayne.
Co-Chairs: Mike Davey, Granados | Davey LLP & Robert Duzoglou, Academy of Martial Arts RDCA MMA
SPECIAL EVENTS & FUNDRAISING
Supports the Chamber with the planning, fundraising and implementation of regularly recurring and new Chamber special events. Committee members assist with Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies, Official Grand Openings, Chamber Networking Events, Awards Events and other Chamber events.

MEMBERSHIP
Assists in recruiting and cultivating membership. Also serves as a welcoming committee, helping new members navigate the many programs offered by the Chamber.

NOMINATING
Charged with preparing a list of nominees for those directorships whose terms are expiring as well as for each Office of the Chamber annually.
Chair: Lino Campos, Northern Trust
EDUCATION
Shares knowledge, resources and educational opportunities for small businesses via forums and business webinars. Also serves as the liaison between the business community and the Key Biscayne education system. Members of the committee assist in the planning and implementation of the annual Good Neighbor and Giving Tree Award an event that encourages and celebrates educational excellence in our schools.

ENVIRONMENTAL
Identify sustainable best practices that can be replicated by the Key Biscayne business community. To advise and make recommendations to the Village on ways to maximize socially-just sustainable planning in purchasing, development, and policy making. To help increase the community's awareness and accessibility to low-impact living.
